If Ever You Need Ink...

I HATE the printer industry with a passion! It's just so daft and consumers fall for it. Printers haven't really come down in price much but you can get the odd offer, ie. I picked a decent one up for £20 in Comet recently. Most are still overpriced as the technology is oooold and hasn't developed much at all. Well even though this is the case, I happen to have FOUR printers in my room at present... why? Because of the cost of ink!

Well the first one packed in, which is a shame because the ink is still pretty cheap for this one (but now hard to find!), but bizarrely, every other printer I have costs less than buying the ink on its own! How stupid! For example, this £20 printer I bought in Comet comes with ink, as do all new printers. Well now if I wanted to buy ink for it, I'd probably have to pay around £30. Honestly, it's daft but this sort of thing has been an issue for years and nobody seems to notice. What I've been doing is tracking down decent cheap printers and buying them brand new as its cheaper than buying ink! So you don't need to ask why there are a bunch of printers on my cupboard right?

However, only part of my opinion still stands as of now as I have stumbled into the world of IJT Direct, an online printer ink refilling company. Basically, they sell ink cheaper because they simply fill their own branded compatible cartridges with ink, proving that companies like Epson, HP and Canon are overcharging us for their ink. Ink is not extremely cheap for all printers, but I managed to track down some cheap ink for my nifty little Brother All-In-One printer which was least expected. I received my ink this morning which I have to say, took a while to deliver, but am very happy. My grandfather has dealt with these before and has had no problems what-so-ever.

Best of all, keep checking sites like www.retailmenot.com for IJT Direct discount codes as they seem to have one available all throughout the year which can either give you 50% off their online prices again, or Buy 1 Get 1 Free. Hell yeah!
